As Technical Documentation Lead, I developed the overall strategy for the new Cleverbridge Business User Documentation site and led the project from concept to completion. This included defining the content architecture, managing cross-functional collaboration, overseeing quality standards, and contributing significant hands-on work—from writing and editing to structuring and publishing content.
Cleverbridge's submission showcased a holistic reinvention of the documentation experience, evolving it into a dynamic, intelligent, and user-driven ecosystem.
We've integrated AI across the entire documentation lifecycle. Our DocsBot AI assistant is trained both on our documentation content and guided by the documentation team, ensuring context-aware, on-brand responses. The AI is also a key source of feedback—its usage data highlights content gaps and helps us continuously optimize our documentation.
We also use AI to streamline internal processes, such as format conversion during content migration, increasing efficiency and quality simultaneously.
Our content strategy is deeply rooted in real user needs. We conduct ongoing interviews, workshops, usability tests, and analyze search behavior and feedback to drive meaningful improvements. The new site features step-by-step guides, interactive elements, and intuitive navigation tailored to how users think and work.
We introduced a comprehensive documentation quality assessment that evaluates performance, accessibility, SEO, sustainability, and content clarity. These factors are reviewed using automated tools and team evaluations, then visualized in structured reports that support data-driven decision-making and guide ongoing improvements.
Our documentation site is live, in daily use, and continuously evolving. It supports Single Sign-On to deliver tailored content, has a modular structure for easy scaling, and is optimized for various formats and devices. Feedback since launch confirms significantly improved usability and satisfaction from both internal users and external clients.
The visual design emphasizes clarity and accessibility. The site supports light and dark modes, includes high-contrast text, keyboard navigation, and consistent layout patterns. Icons, UI snippets, and screenshots offer just the right amount of visual guidance without overwhelming the user.
We designed our platform with sustainability in mind. It runs on 100% renewable energy and is optimized for performance and low energy use. By enabling users to find what they need faster through smart architecture and SEO, we reduce unnecessary page loads and data usage. We track sustainability metrics and continuously fine-tune to minimize our environmental footprint.
Since launch, our new documentation site has been praised by clients and internal teams alike as being significantly more helpful, modern, and intuitive.
